A Magic forest story (The Monarch)

A long time ago long before the telephone existed families from Mexico moved all over North America. The young kids missed their Abuela's (grandmothers) so much their moms would tell them to write little notes to their Abuela on orange paper because the orange paper was special because of the oranges that grow there and fold it up really small and put it in their drawers.

While so many letters were written and tears were cried and wishes were said asking for the letters to find their way to their Abuela's back in Mexico.

That one day all the letters collected in the drawer folded up became beautiful orange butterflies and the ink died their wings with dots of black so that they could fly all the way back to Mexico to tell their Abuelas how much the children loved and missed them and each spring the Abuelas would send the butterflies all the way back across Canada and the USA to tell the children how much they were loved and missed and before each winter would fly back to Mexico to tell their Abuelas how much they loved them.

Because love never ends...
