You can’t be everywhere at once

You can’t be everywhere at once,

And your kids know it.

As soon as you change the scenery the first thing kids do is test their boundaries. Just like you have run to the end of a video game play area just to see what happens. They know what they should not do or have thought of something new to get themselves into. This leads up to around 5 minutes of yelling at them until they settle down and play inside the correct play area. This multiplies by the more children you have.

Raising children can feel like the whole world is against you while you have someone wanting your full attention ALL THE TIME. The most neighborly thing someone can do when they see someone struggling raising children is ask if they can help or leave them alone not become a DR Phil. Sometimes it takes that one second of saying hello that helps someone get through the day while they have the song babyshark repeating over and over again in their head

Awaken tonight

As I laid in bed arms folded over my chest
Right foot crossed over the left
With the blanket over my head
My eyes closed into the night
I slipped back through my mind
To a time of musket fire and smoke
Then further back to the long swards
The quest for knowledge that sets one free
Further back I did seek
The raids on Hathor’s temple
After they did leave
To the new lands
Where a long time it would be
Until it saw Christianity
The burning of the library
A cross burnt into history
The young boy called by his brother
To the land of the three kings
To be taught of mysteries,
Again, a sward in my hand
I did see
With roman legions marching
Across destiny
Each new land concord
Had the same gods and temples
With different names for them
Where one could worship
There I slipped a step back again
As fleeing survivors landed
In what would be Rome one day
As I followed them backwards
I stood on the walls of Troy
Watching the Greeks approach
In their fishing boats
Then a flood not a great one
As Santorini erupted destroying Crete
I followed the young Moses
From Mount Sinai
First into the heavens he did fly
To see one side of the earth a turtle
And the other side a great elephant
Back to Egypt and sat in Hathor’s Temple again
 listening to Hermes Trismegistus
I followed him from the land of the three kings
To the boat of Noah in Turkey
With the three planks
I slipped further back still
Well Enoch left the earth
For three hundred years
Back before the great flood
During the time of the great ice walls
To be born and die again and again
with young Thoth
Who the gods gave life immortal to
For remember all his past lives
Sons of Enki we did live and die
In Atlantis the land lost so long ago
Under the Mediterranean Sea
It is now just a myth to so many
Further back I did travel
To when Anu was a great general
Who conquered the frost Giants planet
As he took on Ea’s mother as his wife to be
But his war did not finish during that night
There I awoke lying in my bed
And the words have not stopped
Ringing in my head
“I call upon the brotherhood of the dragon’s tail one more time
Born of the house of Miles,
Trained by the last of the table of the skull’s
Descendant of the Britannica Druid bloodline
Claim my set last sat in, in 1842”
I will no longer sleep through time
Awaken my brothers and sisters
Awaken to this world hidden deep in your minds
Awaken to the past that can no longer hide
Awaken to every future life
