in the beginning it was dark
and it staid dark and cold for a long time
then one day as it began to warm
a small bud formed
as it began to grow in the large oak tree
it sat there alone thinking how it was so lonely
and as the sun stayed out longer the leaf realized it was not alone
It was surrounded by thousands of other leafs
and as the summer went on the leaves laughed and played int he big tree
They danced with the wind and sang with the breeze
Then as they became old the began to change colour
some red, some orange, some yellow, some brown, and some stayed green
but they were all still friends laughing and dancing in the big oak tree
slowly one by one they decided to leave
Until the winter came and they all slept
underneath the banket at night again
