A magic forest story - Hansel and Gretel - start

Hansel and Gretel Grew and married and had many children who had children of their own and grew into two different families. in Hansel bloodline, the young king was born King Alaric and in Gretel's bloodline, two young children were born as simple farmers who their mother named them Hansel and Gretel after the story they were told of children of the mother Rapunzel. Ten years went by and the young Hansel and Gretel were playing in the forest when they came to a tent that had appeared overnight. They could see the horses outside of the tent and run up to them to pet the horses.

Then out of the tent came a man with long black hair and grabbed the two children and dragged them into his tent where there was a band of warriors talking. The children knew right away these were the Huns from the north and were told to run away if they ever saw them, but for them, it was too late.

Then Huns had them tied to a big pull in the middle of the tent. Although the children did not know when they were talking about. They were talking that they had not had the taste of meat for so long that they could eat the children. 

Rapunzel end

Rapunzel looked down at Ramus standing there with his now long beard and hair. As soon as he saw her he said " Rapunzel, Rapunzel throw down your long hair?" and she did.

He climbed up to see her a far more broken man then he was when he left and held in his scarred hands the gold strands of her hair. She looked at him and said" You fool, I never cared about you bringing back the hair only that you came back to see me" and she kissed him.

He got down on one knee and breaded the end of her hair into a ring, then pulled out his knife and cut it saying "Rapunzel will you marry me?"
"Of course I will Ramus, but, how will we ever escape my evil stepmother?"

He pulled out the ointment from the druid and said " This will remove all your hair forever and you will be free"

With that she breaded a piece of her hair and said "Yes oh yes, let us leave this place at once"

Ramus cut the ring as it turned to gold and put it on then he cut another larger chunk of hair off, not too big, but, enough that he knew he could buy a farm and hide forever. Then Rapunzel throw her hair out the window to make a slide and they slide from the tower and he poured the ointment on her head as all the hear fell off and turned to gold.

They slid down the hair and never looked back. They stopped at a small Roman outpost before leaving Gaul and he wrote a letter to his general about the large gold and a map of how to get there with one strand of gold and his salt for it to be delivered.

As Rapunzel and Ramus crossed the river Rhine into Germania knowing they would not be followed there. His General Germanicus found the gold in the name of Rome and there was an old woman trying to cut pieces off of it with an ax. When they approached her she swung the ax at the Roman guard who ran her through and as general Germania and Ramus's commanding officer Amulius stared up at the gold, Amulius said " What should we do about Ramus?" and Germanicus held his fingers over the bump where a chunk of the gold was missing and said " I do not believe we will be seeing young Ramus ever again.

So there Ramus and Rapunzel were able to buy some farmland off a Germanic tribe where they had two children a boy and a girl and to fit in with their new home they gave them Germanic names Hansel and Gretel.

A magic forest story- Rapunzel part 2

Remus fought hard during his time in Britannica and was promoted several times.  All he could think of was how he would trade the weight of gold of Rapunzels' hair just to be with her again. His final mission was to attack the island of Anglesey and home of the druids to break the will of the celts.

They stormed the island and the Druids found their magic almost useless against the new roman steel as it was able to absorb their magic. The Roman legion tore through the entire island and only one escaped a Druid by the name of Merlin.

Remus commanding officer Amulius called him into his tent and said " This week is your last week of service Remus so I will charge you with one more task. You are to track down this escaped druid Merlin and kill him before he causes Rome any more problems. If you are successful you will be discharged from the Army, however, if you fail you will have to serve in the army one more full year.

Ramus knew if he said no they would add two more years of service to his enlistment as they often did. "Of course Sir," Ramus said and rode off in search of Merlin.

Alone in the land of the celts, he found his way to Merlin standing on a cliff edge now cornered by him. Ramus walked up to him sword in hand.

 "I know who you are" he yelled
"Who am I then to you" Merlin replied.
"You are the rogue druid Merlin and I must kill you"
"Are you sure Ramus, that is what you want from me? Because I know there is more to your hart then just gold."
"What do you know about me, I am no one to you" Ramus replied.
"We are all something to someone and you are no exception to that. Now tell me Ramus what is it that you really want?"
"I want a potion that can turn someone bold forever."
"Then let us gather the herbs you will need and you will have your potion"

As they gathered the herbs for the potion Ramus asked Merlin what he would do if he let him live and Merlin replied his war is not this one and long after Rome is but a rumor he will be there for the wars of Arthur the true king of England.

Ramus not knowing of these lands of England did not care for the old man's ramblings and when the potion was complete he returned back to his commanders' tent and said that the Druid known as Merlin must have perished for he found no trace of him.

A year later he returned to Gaul and to Rapunzels' tower. As he stood at the bottom looking up he yelled "Rapunzel, Rapunzel throw down your hair" and she rushed to the window to see him.

A magic forest story- Rapunzel

One day a Roman soldier is in the market of Gaul exchange his salt for some copper coins as the price of salt always dropped on the soldier's payday. He took the coins and bought a loaf of bread some cured pork three apples and a couple of carrots and wandered into the forest hoping to ketch a rabbit or two during his time off.

The soldier spent two days wandering in the forest without ketching anything until he came across a tall stone tower that had no doors to get in. He tried to climb the wall looking rather silly as he fell on the ground and he heard the sound of a woman laughing as he looked up and could see a young woman with long blond hair. He asked the woman how did you get way up there? and she replied that she had never been down there! While the lady of the tower he said " What is your name as you must be an angel that has fallen from the sky and locked up in this tower and she replied " Rapunzel" and he said, "I am Remus."

They talked all day and night as the soldier told her all about the world and his adventures. Then the soldier had to leave and promised he would come back and visit here and everytime the solder got paid he would take his leave and go see her. One day Remus was visiting her and said to her I wish so much I could see you Rapunzel what if I were to build a giant latter so I can climb up to the heavens to be with you and Rapunzel said I will throw you down my hair and you can climb up it so that you can see me but you must promise you are a gentleman and will not hurt me. and Remus promised as her flowing hair came down the side of the tower and touched the ground.

Remus climbed the hair to see the beautifulest woman he had ever seen as her hair covered over her entire body. Remus came visit her again and again and at the bottom of the tower he would say Rapunzel, Rapunzel won't you throw down your hair and he would climb up to see her bringing her gifts and wine and food to share.

One day Remus came to visit Rapunzel and said " my unit is moving out and sailing to Britannica" "Oh Remus will I ever see you again?"
"I have only one year of service left in the army and when I return we will buy a cabin along a lake and I will make you my wife"

"Remus Please hurry back to see me and be safe"
" I will Rapunzel and he asked her if he could cut a small piece of her hair to remember her by.
She said yes and looked scared as he cust a small piece of her hair off and watched as it turned to gold"
"What it this?" Said Remus
"Please do not be scarred my stepmother comes to cut my hair and says that if anyone were to find out they will kill me for my hair and that is why she keeps me locked up here" But now that you know Remus will you take the gold and use me like she does?

Remus promised her that he would return to see her and have all the strands of gold when he returned. As he walked away into the forest she wondered if she should ever see him again?

A magic forests another day in paradise

So I wake up and do not even make it to the coffee maker before the baby starts screaming.

After 2 hours of the kids screaming and fighting I put them both in their car seat and strap them in at least now they are in one spot and we go to the bank to pay the credit card bill that is due tomorrow. Of course, the machine for paying the cards is not working.

 I won't bore you this the details or our adventures in Toyland as I am sure everyone has the same experience going into any store with kids these days.

After an hour of walking up and down the same toy lanes with my 4 years old wanting to be just like Ryans words and getting to have every toy on the shelf. My wife is done grocery shopping and I by the 4 and 2-year-old a ball each.

Then we drive to the other bank on the other side of the city that I also cannot pay my credit card at. As we drive home my wife says to me can we get the freeking vegetables now and I reply back your made at the vegetables what did they ever do to you? She says back to me "No, I said fruit and vegetables" because living by an airport has in no way affected my hearing!

So we get the fruit as the kids scream and afterward I take them to the park and tell the wife to pick me up in an hour as I grab the only juice box in the car.

Right away as we walk into the park the kids want the juice box and want to fight over who's turn it is to drink some as they keep squeezing it all over the ground.

after that was over, they played with the ball for all but 1 minute as the youngest played on the slid and the oldest and I looked for treasure. While he found rocks and I picked up broken pieces of glass to throw away before the kids cut themselves on them.

then they decided they wanted to go on the swing and I put the two-year-old on the swing and the 4-year-old wanted to get on the swing himself. somehow the 4 year old falls off as he climbed on the swing and starts holding his special area and crying. Now these are those old mettle swings with chain. He wants to go home as he is crying and I am holding him I feel something worm and wet on my side and I am really worried he has ripped something off. But, it turned out he only bagged himself for the first time and we reached the parking lot of the park and mommie was not there. So we start walking home and by the time he gets to the back of the outside of the park he is fine again and wants to go play back in the park. While the youngest one keeps thinking it is funny to throw the ball onto the road.

We get back into the park and the oldest one is playing on the slide and the youngest one goes to throw rocks on the slide and falls face first into it. Thank god it was the plastic slide. Now he is crying and I a, holding him and wants to go sit on the bench in front of the magic forest. He finally stops crying and the oldest one now starts crying that he is scared and wants me to go get him as the youngest is starts to cry again. Now both on the bench they are calm for around 1 minute until they start fighting over the stones on the bench.

Finally, I bring the little one int the magic forest where he poops just as the oldest one also says he needs to go to the bathroom. I bring them into the bathroom dump out the hard poop thank god from the dipper and put it back on him.

Now the kids by the washroom have found a large metal pail of water that is used to scoop a bucket of water out of to flush the toylet and the and they start fighting over who is going to put their hand int he water as I try getting them away from it and at one point pick up the smallest one and carry him back to the park where he runs right back to the water. Finally the oldest one comes and sits down with my at the magic forest and I tell him a magic forest story and he says "thank you Papa" and then says I want to go home and I say ok lets go put your knapsack "Relf" on so we can go home as one kids have a monkey knapsack we call Gorge and the oldest has a dog one we call Relf. So I get Rrelf on the oldest because the youngest still has George on from the first time we tried to leave the park. just as I get Relf on the oldest one mommy shows up to drive us all home and I look to the sky and thank God.

A magic forest story - the magic ball

I took my children to the park today and the oldest wanted to go into the magic forest for a story. At that time he also found a rather large bouncy ball that had two different colours on each half. 

One day a small boy found a ball on the shore of the river that had two colours a yellow colour and a green colour. He picked it up and played with it until be became tired and put it in his pocket and brought it home. The boy played with his ball as he grew and had to go to school. One day in class he could not know the answers of a test and said I wish I could know the answers to the test. Then on the yellow side of the ball, it showed him the future and him looking at the answers to the test. 

The boy was so happy and got every answer right. 

as the boy grew he used the magic ball to get every answer right on all his tests and graduated from university with honors. 

Then the man got his first job, but even though the ball would give him answers to a test he could never get his work right and figure out how to do anything hands-on in the real world. The young man grew into a middle-aged man who could not hold down a job. 

One day he took the ball out from the drawer where he kept it in his small one-room apartment and walked back to the river where he got it. 

He looked at the ball and said how did my life become so bad when at first it was going so good. Then on the green side of the ball, it showed him asking for all the answers on his tests and the day he found the ball. The man threw the ball back into the river and that day he got a job as a janitor at a school where he worked for the rest of his life. 

Again years later the ball wound up on the shore of the river as an older man picked it up and he looked at the sky and said " I wonder if it will rain later today" then on the yellow side of the ball it showed the old man sunny blue skies for the rest of the day. 

The old man looked at the ball fascinated by what the ball had just shown him then said: " How could such a magic ball have been simply left here?" 

Then on the green side of the ball it showed the previous owner of the balls life and how hard of a time he had with it.   

the old man thought for a moment of all the things he could do with a magic ball the could show the future and the past and threw it back into the river.
