A magic forest story - Curiosity

A terrible noise swept through the castle as soldiers kicked open the doors to the young prince and his new bride's chambers. For the first time ever a prince was going to be allowed to marry out of love.

The people had just overthrown their monarchy as the two were brought to the courtyard and executed.

But time did what time does, it went on regardless of any actions of mankind as people replaced one leader who they said stole from them with hundreds of them.

One day a small boy was walking with his mother and he noticed a beautiful women wearing all white and had a red scarf around her neck. He said to his mother "look over there mommy at the pretty lady and when the mom turned to look there was no one there.

The boy saw the lady many of times growing up until he became a teenager and did not see her anymore.

During a dark cold night on a cobblestone road, a man wearing a bowling cap pulls a young lady wearing all white off the road as a horse and buggy rides by about to hit her. She turns to look at him as she twists in his arms as though they just danced.

He looks deep into her eyes past her long blond hair and says " do you believe in destiny?" Why the women replies. Because I feel like I have waited for you my whole life and as he goes to pull on the red scarf around her neck. She pushes him away and says "if this were fate we will meet again". As she walks away the man says and if you believe in love I will be here every night at this time for the next two weeks waiting for you!

There he stood for two weeks on the side of that cold street every night waiting for her and there she stood just out of sight watching him stand looking up and down the street his face light up by the street lamp as you could see his breath from the cold.

Finally on the fourteenth night as he went to walk away into the darkness to never be seen again. He hears her say wait and she walks up to him. They spent an hour talking about nothing and he asks her to go to dinner with him the next night. She says to him we should meet again right here on this spot and he tells her he is a gentleman and will do as he should have that first night and escort the young lady home to make sure she is safe.

Winter melted into spring, spring sprang into summer and summer faded into fall. When he was with her all he could do was look into her eyes and when he was away all he could see is her white silhouette in a black background with the red scarf down a dark corridor.

Finally, the day came for them to be married as church bells rang and children sang. The groom and bride dashed off to their honeymoon night. They stood in the room and as he took off her jacket he looked deep into her eyes and unslipped the scarf that was tied around her neck as her head fell off and rolled onto the floor and the life left her eyes.

She and waited over two hundred years for him to come back to her arms and escaped death to do it. But it was man's curiosity that killed love in the end.
